What makes Hitah incense different?

Our flower-based incense gives suitable used temple flowers and unsold flowers a new purpose. We process recovered material at Kanchipuram and combine it with the ingredients needed for each fragrance formulation. Women take part in production and packing.

Which incense fragrances can I choose?

Explore Rose, Jasmine, and Lavender in our US collection. Shop incense.

Are the candles really 100% beeswax?

Yes. Our candles contain 100% beeswax with no added waxes, dyes, or fragrances. Our floating candles are melted and poured into molds. Shop beeswax candles.

Where does the beeswax come from?

We source wax from tribal communities engaged in managed-hive beekeeping or sustainable forest honey harvesting. Purchasing wax recovered from comb after honey harvest creates an additional income stream.

Do beeswax candles purify the air?

We do not make an air-purification claim. We choose beeswax for its natural origin, pure formulation, and connection to our sourcing communities. Follow the product instructions and use candles with appropriate ventilation.

How should I use incense and candles?

Follow the care instructions on each product page and the instructions supplied with your product. Keep lit products away from children, pets, and flammable materials. Never leave them unattended. Stop use if fragrance or smoke causes discomfort.

Can I shop in India?

Yes. Visit Hitah Home Goods for the Indian market. Products, prices, shipping, and policies can differ between markets.

How does Hitah support The Aroma Project?

The Aroma Project funds its work through Hitah product sales. Its mission connects women’s empowerment with children’s education and creative opportunities. We do not advertise a fixed contribution from each purchase.
